The ACS Forged system can carry a load of 400 pounds on the load bars off road. Furthermore, the ACS Forged is rated to carry 800 on road. What does this mean? If you hit a significant obstacle such as a speed bump or pothole it is possible to overload the ACS Forged with 800 pounds on the rack. Lastly the ACS Forged is rated at 1400 pounds “static” This refers to the vehicle being stationary and having 1400 pounds on the load bars. This might be the case when attaching a 200lb roof top tent and having 3 large adults sleeping in it.

The ACS Forged fits most trucks from short bed midsize trucks measuring 5’ all the way to full size trucks with 8’ beds.

The load bars are 23” high when measured from the truck bed rails. We also manufacture high Brackets that raise the load bar height to 27”. This might be required when carrying long loads above the cab of your truck on vehicles with high roof lines such as the Ford F250 and F350.

Depending on your bed length, the ACS Forged system will weigh from 71lbs for a 5 foot short bed up to 106lbs for an 8 foot long bed.

No, The rack is designed to accommodate any sprayed in bed liner.

In most situations yes, as long as it is an under the rail bed liner. Some modifications to the liner might need to be made to accommodate the clamps that attach the side rails to the bed rails.

The ACS FORGED has a forged 6061 Aluminum upright arm, Military Grade aluminum components, with Grade 10.9 Black Zinc- Nickle plated fasteners.

Generally, as long a you have the same bed length, yes you can transfer it. If you have a Tacoma 05-15 ACS, and you are getting a new 2016+ Tacoma, you will not be able to transfer that ACS over.

Yes, the rear sliding load bar even in the full backwards position are not designed to support the rack by itself.

On the forged rack it might be possible, but the rack will need to be slid to the rear most position as the rear support bars are still required. Please know that any modification or fitment on vehicles it is not designed for voids all warranties from our company.

The ACS forged is assembled in Corona California from domestic and foreign sourced material.

Yes, The holes in the Ford F150 are for the factory truck bed extender. Our ACS rack will not use those to mount. The factory holes will not get in the way of a clean installation. You will need to drill 2 more holes and install the inserts that come with the system.

No, we feel a low-profile rack does not offer the advantages of a rack that is above the roof such as caring long items above the roof. Also, none of our accessories like gear pods would fit.

Yes the Alu-Cab RTT works with the ACS. You will utilize their bracket and you will need to purchase our "Classic Bolt Kit" from our parts shop.

We recommend using the Finish Line Bike Lubricant with Teflon. Use about 3-4 drops inside the lock and it should relieve the key from sticking or getting stuck. They have 2 oz or 4 oz bottles to carry everywhere you go.

We recommend using any “Lock De-Icer”. You can find these at a local hardware store or on Amazon. They have small bottles to carry everywhere you go.

The ACS Tonneau is based on our industry leading ACS Forged design. The ACS Tonneau is a complete bolt on design with no drilling required. It integrates with a selected few retractable tonneau covers to offer increased locked storage capacity of your truck for the ultimate truck bed storage solution.

The ACS Tonneau was engineered to work with retractable tonneau covers that incorporate a mounting t-slot. These include all Retrax One XR, Retrax Pro XR, and Pace Edwards Ultragroove Electric & Explorer series.

Unfortunately no, there are no compatible tonneau covers for the Jeep Gladiator that accommodate the Active Cargo System.

The weight rating for the ACS Tonneau is 400lbs on road and 800lbs static. Because the rack is secured to the truck by the mounting hardware of the tonneau, we cannot recommend a safe off-road weight limit.

We have engineered our gear pods from the finest material to ensure a tight seal. However, due to many factors we cannot guarantee a watertight seal.

Currently we use many different keys in random order. We cannot guarantee gear pods will be keyed alike.

The gear pods are designed to fit with exacting tolerances specifically to our ACS. Any application not on our rack is not supported. There are no mounting holes for the MAXTRAX pins on the universal mounting plates. Also, the length of the mounting studs from the MAXTRAX mounting pins will prevent mounting a ROTOPAX on the other side. We suggest using the either our standard MAXTRAX mounts or our Gear pod XL MAXTRAX mounts.

Yes, the security bolt kit can be used on anything with the Traklok Bolt Kit.

No, we only recommend clean water being put inside the HydroPOD.

Water can freeze in freezing temperatures. We highly recommend that you empty the HydroPOD when travelling in those conditions. Water can get Hot sitting in the sun. Keep in mind when travelling or parked, the sun exposure to the HydroPOD will heat the water.
