@campbellflyfishing

Fishing has been a passion for Austin’s whole life, while learning to fish for warm water species in Atchison, Kansas on his family Farm, to Fly Fishing Freestone and tailwaters of Colorado. Austin truly found the love for the sport in High School while fly fishing rivers in the front range of Colorado and took his passion to the east coast, while attending college at Penn State University.

During his time at Penn State, Austin was part of the track and field team as a high jumper, while still fly fishing at least three to four times a week, to learn tactics from Fly Fishing legends like George Daniels and Joe Humphreys. Through the summers in college Austin started his professional career fly fishing while working with Lincoln Hills Cares at Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club in Black Hawk, Colorado. The goal is getting youth in the outdoors and spreading the passion of fly fishing to those who don’t have the opportunities or resources to do it on their own.

Now, Austin is a full-time fly-fishing guide with The Fly Fisher Guide Service at Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club and a public water guide with the Colorado Trout Fisher, while still instructing with Lincoln Hills Cares.

Through guiding, Austin teaches the importance of river conservation, aquatic bug life, and trout sustainability.The outdoors is for all.
